How we live

leaves a mark.

A note from Tom

Much of my life has been spent creating businesses, leading organizations, and working with people through growth, change, and uncertainty. Like many of us, I learned to move quickly — solving problems, making decisions, and responding to whatever needed attention next.

A family journey through the Serengeti caused me to notice something different. Life there moved with its own rhythm. Nothing seemed hurried, yet nothing was left undone. I began to wonder what Nature might teach us about the way we live and lead.

My first book, Footprint grew from that question. Through stories, reflection, and photography, it explores the natural rhythms of creating, connecting, growing, and evolving — and what they might reveal about our relationships, our organizations, and the choices we make every day.

It is not a book of quick fixes. It is an invitation to notice what has always been around us — and perhaps to live and lead a little more consciously within it.

STEPHEN M.R. COVEY ON FOOTPRINT

“…leadership is not merely about achieving results, but about the legacy we create through our relationships, our choices, and the lives we touch. This is a wonderful book to be experienced as much as read, and its lessons will stay with you long after you turn the final page.”

— Stephen M. R. Covey New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author of “The Speed of Trust” and “Trust & Inspire”

How we pay attention, how we relate, and how we choose to live become part of the mark we leave.
